My name is Arnaud Pitois, after getting BBC training whilst working for a handful of independent

production companies in the UK, I became a freelance director in 2001.

I also have a ten years experience in film publicity (Warner Brothers, Fox Searchlight, Pathé) and decided to mix my production and international publicity background under one name: woolly hat.

what I do: I am either hired as a freelance director/producer by independent TV production companies making factual entertainment formats for broadcasters including NBC and C4. Or when working in the corporate side of the industry,

I have specialised in producing/ editing corporate videos for micro, small and medium size organisations.

From the initial creative brief to the final delivery: TV, DVD or web content, I aim to provide a simple and seamless workflow to my clients being corporate, broadcasters, newspapers or new media.

woolly hat’s mission is to deliver absolutely on time and on budget.

In 2009 with Rebecca Gethings I co-founded we are castlefarm, a comedy writing outfit. Our first completed project called ANIMALS ‘The definitive documentary on earth’s most colourful species’, has been submitted for consideration by Channel 4’s Comedy Lab.
